Dayton, OHIO – The women’s golf team is making history yet again. They have qualified for State, making it their ninth consecutive year.

“When we played at districts I know we were all really nervous because we all wanted to go to state more than anything,” said Blake Wogoman ‘18 when asked about districts. “I think there was a lot of pressure, especially the four of us being seniors.”

The team competed at districts last Wednesday, winning first place overall by one point ahead of Alter.

“To take first in districts was an amazing and emotional feeling for all of us. To be able to go to state my senior year is incredible and I couldn’t be more excited to go back with my team!” exclaimed Aryanna Sutton ‘18.

“I am so excited to spend my senior year at state again, especially being with the seniors and taking one sophomore with us.” said Wogoman. “It will be such a blast and I know we will all play really well and end our senior season the best way possible!”

The ladies leave on Thursday morning for a practice round and compete on Friday and Saturday at the Ohio State Gray Course. The tee times vary. Good luck to the Lady Eagles!
