Dayton, OH – October 23 -October 27 marks Red Ribbon week at CJ. Students and teachers will be celebrating every day this week on the importance of staying drug-free.

Homerooms will be dedicated to spreading the word about drugs during lunch, there will be a poster for the students of CJ to sign during lunch to take the pledge against drugs, and red ribbons are available to wear throughout the week.

The Student In Action leadership group (SIA) is behind this week’s festivities. Taylor Mims, a member of SIA said, “It’s an honor to work towards this issue. It’s very important that we as youth spread the word about the negativity of drugs to people all around.”

There are many other students too with this same mindset and attitude towards Red Ribbon Week. Be a part of this worldwide awareness week by spreading awareness and shedding light about this issue!
